Position Summary:
Responsible for completing day-to-day activities of the Front Office. Observe and enact
Meadowood's culture of Service and Forbes 5* Standards in daily operations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Product / Service
  • Actively work AM/PM/MID Front Desk Agent shifts
  • Provide gracious hospitality to all who enter reception lodge
  • Resolve 1st and 2nd level guest problems/complaints
  • Assist Reception staff with heavy check-ins, check-outs, room moves, billing questions and all other tasks as

needed to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure that the reception desk and lodge is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion at all times
  • Ensure that supplies, maps, other resources and inventory are properly stocked and ordered for the desk

Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and / or Experience:
Prior experience at the front desk or other hospitality experience. High school graduate. Valid driver's license.
Language Skills:
Fluent in English. Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to analyze guest folios.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve problems and use independent judgment
Equipment / Machine / Tools:
Able to operate front office equipment
Physical Demands:

  • Stand for long periods of time. Estimate 90 % of time is spent on feet and 10% sitting at desk.
  • Have frequent need to perform the following physical activities: bend/stoop/squat and reach above shoulders.

  • Lifting/carrying 35 pounds occasionally. No lifting over 35 pounds without assistance
  • Vision requirements: constant need to produce complete forms, read reports, view computer screen for long periods of time. Frequent need to see small details. Frequent need to see things clearly beyond arm's reach.
  • Hearing requirements: constant need to communicate in person and over the phone.
