Warehouse Receiving Lead - Edison, NJ
We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Receiving Lead based in Edison, NJ who is actively involved on the warehouse floor and supports daily operations. This role requires a leader who can both manage and execute receiving activities in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and actively participate in daily warehouse receiving operations
  • Support and work alongside the team on the warehouse floor as needed
  • Oversee inbound receiving processes, including:
    • Purchase order receiving
    • Put-away activities
    • Bin transfers
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory movement and warehouse flow
  • Operate forklifts and assist with general warehouse operations as required
  • Foster a team-oriented environment and work effectively with a diverse workforce
  • Support overall warehouse performance in a high-volume distribution setting
Required Experience
  • Proven experience leading teams in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP and/or WMS systems
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse receiving and operational workflows
  • Forklift operation experience is required.
  • Comfortable working directly on the warehouse floor
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
  • Experience operating stand-up forklifts or reach trucks
  • Background in inventory management (training can be provided in this area)
