We are currently hiring a Receiving Clerk for a hospitality organization in Red Bank, NJ. This Receiving Clerk position is ideal for someone who enjoys inventory management, receiving shipments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting multiple departments. Responsibilities of the Receiving Clerk

  • Receive, inspect, record, and sign for incoming shipments as a Receiving Clerk
  • Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Inspect deliveries for damage and report discrepancies, shortages, or errors to suppliers and shippers
  • Maintain accurate receiving records and assist with inventory control procedures
  • Unload, organize, and store incoming supplies and materials
  • Follow up with vendors regarding shipment issues or discrepancies when needed
  • Demonstrate initiative and maintain a professional, service-oriented attitude while supporting otel operations
  • .Assist departments by ensuring supplies are received, stored, and distributed efficiently



Requirements for the Receiving Clerk

  • Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk, Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or in a similar warehouse or receiving role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic math skills and ability to verify quantities, pricing, and shipment information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and assist with inventory management
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions and climb step stools or ladders as needed
