Job Summary:
The Senior Receiving Clerk position is responsible for all functions associated with Receipt, Movement, and Storage of Materials. The Senior Receiving Clerk will unload, inspect delivered goods, count, and record the receipt of materials while ensuring that orders have been correctly satisfied. In addition, the Senior Receiving Clerk will enter data into the inventory system and put away materials.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the receiving lead with day-to-day operations.
  • Check, count, and verify all materials and supplies received against appropriate paperwork.
  • Sort and check all material before issuing to a department or stock.
  • Process backorder items and expedites material issuance to critical production requirements & shortages.
  • Identify and report damaged items.
  • Record receiving data into company database.
  • Completes all paperwork and documents involving parts or materials received into and/or issued out of the area to ensure accountability.
  • Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain discrepancy report for Purchasing and QA.
  • Keep work area organized.
  • Follow safe work practices, participate in safety training as required, and report any unsafe condition or accident.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • 3 to 5 years of previous material handling experience or applicable experience required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and regular lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Due to the nature of IntelliPower's programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Material handling experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skill in using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ERP system.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and successfully recertify annually.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 30 pounds.

Salary Range:
The hourly pay rate for this position generally ranges between $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
