Real Estate Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Real Estate Manager to join our team and support franchisees in opening new units. This role is integral to Unleashed Brands' growth, working closely with both franchisors and franchisees throughout the development phase, from signing the franchise agreement to finalizing the lease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary Support: Act as the main point of contact for new franchisees as they develop their youth enrichment units.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee and report on the franchise real estate pipeline for multiple brands, forecasting future signings.
  • Real Estate Ownership: Handle all real estate activities after franchise agreements are signed for multiple brands.
  • Site Identification: Work closely with Unleashed Brands' broker network to locate potential new sites.
  • Milestone Measurement: Track key milestones such as FA signing, LOI execution, and lease execution to enhance opening timelines.
  • Site Analysis: Review demographics, site attributes, and financials of potential sites and provide recommendations to the Real Estate Committee.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the Franchise Development team on prospective territories and future franchisees.
  • Project Partnership: Partner with construction teams to ensure projects proceed smoothly through due diligence, entitlements, and construction phases.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage the renewal pipeline, ensuring timely and efficient contract renewals to maintain business continuity and satisfaction.
  • Status Meetings: Participate in weekly departmental project status meetings.
  • Brand Standards: Ensure brand standards are met in all real estate activities.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication channels with franchisees, corporate teams, and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and potential issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in franchise real estate.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with franchisees, brokers, and corporate teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a sense of urgency.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for youth enrichment and education is a plus.
