Part-Time Real Estate Assistant / Transaction Coordinator

Luxury Home Builder | Houston, TX 77024 | Mostly Remote


A luxury home builder in Houston is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Real Estate Assistant / Transaction Coordinator to support our lead agent and the broader team. This is a mostly remote position with occasional in-office meetings, offering the flexibility of part-time hours today with the potential to grow into a full-time role.


Position Details

  • Pay: $25–$30/hour
  • Classification: 1099 or W2 (open to either)
  • Hours: Guaranteed 20 hours/week, mostly Monday–Friday
  • Schedule: Mostly remote with occasional in-office meetings; some weekends required for open houses
  • Growth Path: Opportunity to grow into a full-time position


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative workload and daily priorities for the lead agent
  • Write contracts
  • Update and maintain CRM
  • Organize daily operations and shifting priorities
  • Handle business administrative tasks: flyers, client gifts, sign scheduling, inspections, appraisals, and closings
  • Keep projects and communications organized
  • Manage residential transactions from contract through closing
  • Coordinate inspections
  • Prepare and manage listing paperwork
  • Review and organize contracts
  • Track deadlines and ensure files remain compliant
  • Assist agents with contracts, listing coordination, inspection scheduling, transaction paperwork, and general administrative support
  • Review and organize plans and business documentation
  • Coordinate with builders, vendors, and clients
  • Support onboarding of new builder clients and new agents


Must-Haves

Experience:

  •  2–3 years of real estate experience as an agent or as a licensed assistant to a top-producing agent
  • Active Texas Real Estate License
  • Flexibility in schedule, most of hours are M-F although will be open houses on weekends etc.
