Job description

We are pleased to announce the relocation of our corporate headquarters to Greenway Plaza’s Phoenix Tower in Houston’s Upper Kirby neighborhood.

Summary of Position

The Paralegal-Real Estate Transactions will be responsible for providing legal assistance in all aspects of real estate transactions, including reviewing contracts and evaluating risk in the transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and summarize real estate contracts and related documents.
  • Track critical contract dates, deadlines, and progress on contract-related tasks.
  • Support all aspects of real estate transactions, including review of surveys, plats, title commitments, and deed restrictions.
  • Coordinate with title companies and review settlement statements and other closing documents.
  • Draft, review, and proofread various legal documents, including notices and disclosures for home sales.
  • Assist with management of electronic files and recordkeeping.
  • Prepare and send reports to senior management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
