Overview

The Senior Analyst, Asset Management provides critical financial support to S2 Industrial's Asset Management team by maintaining accurate monthly asset reforecasts, managing lender relationships, and ensuring loan compliance. This role involves preparing detailed financial analyses and reports related to loan covenants, draw requests, refinancing, recapitalization, and disposition activities. The Senior Analyst delivers actionable insights to optimize portfolio cash flow and supports strategic financial decision-making across the asset portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the update and maintenance of monthly asset reforecast models by integrating actual operational and leasing performance, market data, and updated assumptions to forecast asset cash flows, capital needs, and returns accurately.

  • Manage loan compliance by monitoring covenants, preparing compliance reports, and addressing any breaches in coordination with Asset Managers and lenders.

  • Prepare and submit lender draw request packages ensuring accuracy, completeness, and lender deadline compliance.

  • Coordinate new loan originations, refinancing, and restructuring efforts, including collecting data, managing documentation, and facilitating lender communication.

  • Support complex financial analyses related to recapitalizations, refinancing, dispositions, and other capital events.

  • Collaborate with Asset Managers to reconcile forecast assumptions with actual asset and market performance, driving improvements in financial accuracy.

  • Monitor equity earn out provisions, guarantee burn down schedules, and other contractual financial obligations to ensure portfolio compliance.

  • Manage lender relationships through timely communication, documentation management, and loan term tracking.

  • Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to improve asset-level cash flow management, capital allocation efficiency, and forecasting processes.

  • Assist Asset Management and Investor Relations teams in preparing investor reporting materials that clearly communicate asset and portfolio financial results.

  • Drive process improvements in financial modeling, reporting workflows, and compliance tracking to enhance team efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in asset management, financial analysis, or a related field.

  • Experience with ARGUS, Yardi, Excel, and other Commercial Real Estate tools.

  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including an understanding of financial statements and discounted cash flow models.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
