Job description

GolfSuites Baton Rouge is seeking a energetic and dependable part-time Driving Range Assistants to help keep our outdoor bays safe, clean, and operating smoothly while delivering a great guest experience. This is a hands-on, active role ideal for team players who enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

The Driving Range Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the driving range by maintaining a clean, safe, and fully operational environment. This role involves outdoor work, physical activity, guest interaction, and general maintenance to ensure an excellent experience for all guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Set up, maintain, and break down driving range bays

Retrieve, wash, and manage golf balls using range equipment

Assist with basic golf club repair and upkeep

Perform janitorial duties, including cleaning range areas and common spaces

Assist with venue maintenance tasks as directed by management

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of all range areas

Monitor range activity and ensure safety procedures are followed

Provide friendly assistance to guests and answer basic questions

Support other operational duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Friday-Sunday availability required
  • Clean driving record
  • Display energy and enthusiasm
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on and as a team
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions for extended periods
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods including maneuvering up and down stairs
  • Ability to obtain required licenses and certifications for your location
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lb.
  • Ability to stoop and bend

Pay: $12.00/hr
