Job Summary
Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties.

A medical office front desk assistant handles a variety of administrative and customer service tasks, including:

  1. Greeting Patients: Checking in patients, verifying personal and insurance details.
  2. Scheduling Appointments: Coordinating appointments and sending reminders.
  3. Answering Phones: Providing information and directing calls to the right departments.
  4. Managing Records: Organizing patient files and maintaining confidentiality.
  5. Billing & Insurance: Verifying insurance, collecting payments, and processing claims.
  6. Correspondence: Sending appointment reminders and follow-up communication.
  7. Coordinating with Staff: Relaying messages between patients and medical professionals.
  8. Maintaining Supplies: Ordering office materials and keeping the office stocked.
  9. Managing the Waiting Area: Ensuring a clean, comfortable space for patients.
  10. Handling Emergencies: Responding to urgent situations calmly and following office protocols.

Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Job Qualifications
Education: MA/MOA/CNA Certificate/Associate's degree
Experience: Min 1 year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
