Senior Window Systems Engineer - Contract to Hire !!

ÂMust be senior, having at leastÂ8-10+ years of Windows server/admin experience. Needs to be local, as there is a F2F interview.

Scope of Work:

Client requires contractor assistance with hands-on expertise building; designing and supporting complex IT Infrastructure environments utilizing Windows servers, NAS, SAN, and Oracle Databases, all virtualized using VMware ESX/vSphere with built-in fault-tolerance.

General tasks include:

  • Administer production Windows 2003/2008/2012 R2 servers including Oracle application and SharePoint 2007/2013 servers including Cloud-based systems
  • Build, maintain, and support of all systems; kernel tuning, systems IO adjustments
  • Plan and design new fault-tolerant systems to support technical project requirements
  • Task automation by writing BASH/Shell scripts & GPOs for OS administration
  • Design new SAN environment and optimize existing NAS clusters
  • Handle Tier 3 technical support issues
