Job description

Inspect, audit, and report on material processes and products to ensure product safety and quality, which includes support of our AIB program. Provide expert QC support to the Quality Manager by performing in-process and final inspections. Can perform and document inspection of raw material, finished product, and returned materials.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Lead rework/sorting process
  • Conduct regularly scheduled documented quality testing and additional testing as needed
  • Assist in food grade GMP audits (AIB, SQF knowledge a plus)
  • Ensure quality processes /procedures are being followed by operators
  • Process/track roll audits from IAuditor into QIR's and submit to respective mill
  • Act as a liaison for Customer and Quality, through Customer Service
  • Provide actionable analytical data related to Customer QVR's to the Quality Manager
  • Obtain paper calipers from mills (in our paper plan) we purchase from, on a semi-annual basis
  • Assist in QVR Root Cause Analysis
  • Customer Visits & Sample Collection as needed
  • Assists in FSC and SFI related items
  • Assists Sales with Special Projects as needed
  • Provide KPI reports to all Schwarz facilities on a monthly basis (or as needed)
  • Supply customers with performance scorecards monthly (or as requested)
