Job description

Position Overview
We're looking for a Quality Control Manager/Supervisor to join our team on a truly unique project at Lehman Caves in Great Basin National Park. This is a temporary, project-based position, ideal for someone who enjoys traveling in remote areas in a unique environment. This project is estimated to go through December into January 2027.
You'll play an important role in maintaining quality standards, supporting the project team, and keeping communication with the government clear and organized. The setting is incredible, the expectations are clear, and you'll have the support you need to succeed.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage and maintain the project's Quality Control Plan
  • Perform daily inspections of ongoing work activities
  • Prepare and submit daily quality control reports to the government
  • Track inspections, testing, and QC documentation
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, and inspectors
  • Identify issues early and help drive practical, timely solutions

What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a Quality Control or similar construction-related role
  • Experience with inspections, documentation, and reporting
  • Comfortable communicating with government representatives
  • Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and contract documents

Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Experience on federal, National Park Service, or environmentally sensitive projects
  • Familiarity with USACE or federal QC processes
  • OSHA 30-hour certification
