About This Position

***$100 weekly production/attendance bonus***

The Access SecurePak Quality Control Associate is responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurate, complete, and meet company quality standards before shipment. This role plays a critical part in reducing errors, improving customer satisfaction, and supporting efficient warehouse operations by inspecting products, verifying order details, and documenting discrepancies. This is a four day, 10 hours a day position Monday through Thursday.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough quality checks on all outbound customer orders, verifying item counts, product types, packaging integrity, and labeling accuracy to ensure 100% order fulfillment precision.
  • Perform pre-shipment product inspections to identify and flag damaged, defective, or non-conforming items, preventing errors from reaching customers.
  • Cross-reference pick tickets, packing slips, and warehouse management system (WMS) data to validate order consistency and catch discrepancies before shipment.
  • Scan and verify barcodes or SKUs using handheld scanners or RF devices to confirm product accuracy at each stage of the fulfillment process.
  • Accurately document and escalate order discrepancies, product defects, and quality concerns to supervisory staff, maintaining detailed records for trend analysis and process improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with picking, packing, and shipping teams to resolve order errors in real time, minimizing delays and maintaining workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on daily quality metrics, including error rates, pass/fail ratios, and throughput, to support performance reporting.
  • Ensure all packaging meets company presentation standards, including proper sealing, labeling, and protective materials for secure transit.
  • Strictly adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OSHA safety guidelines, and quality control standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Generate and maintain accurate daily quality control logs, inspection reports, and error tracking documentation to support operational transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives by identifying recurring error patterns, recommending corrective actions, and contributing to reduced return rates and enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding production bottlenecks, staffing gaps, or quality trends during daily shift briefings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation in compliance with 5S workplace organization standards.
  • Support periodic inventory audits, cycle counts, and ad hoc operational tasks as directed, ensuring warehouse accuracy and compliance with company inventory protocols.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members on quality control procedures and inspection techniques as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations and team goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
