Job Summary:

The Quality Administration/Technician is responsible for maintaining branch ISO documents along with all training documents for all employees. Additional responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels and ensuring appropriate stock levels, investigating all quality claims related to packaging, material specification, gage calibration and non-conformities both internally and externally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all ISO related documents and employee training files are maintained with updated revisions and required certifications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality of processes and standards.
  • Investigate all (internal/ external) quality related issues arising at a branch level and handles customer concerns/corrective actions.
  • Audit incoming inspection and outgoing orders periodically.
  • Manage/Quarantine material as necessary.
  • Responsible for calibration of measurement, equipment logs for branch and ensure tools are properly certified.
  • Support ISO Internal Audit for plant processes to ensure internal procedures are being followed.
  • Maintain production Work Instructions, logs and any controlled documents.

Position Requirements:

  • A high school diploma is required with over 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Some college/Technical education is preferred.
  • Ability to use measurement tools such as Caliper, Tape & Micrometer.
  • Basic math skills to understand and inspect parts.
  • This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Working environment/physical demands:

  • Office environment/no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
  • Occasionally exposed warehouse working conditions and surroundings, while wearing the required PPE.
