Eaton's Power Systems Division is currently seeking a Quality Assistant to join our Innovative Switchgear (ISG) manufacturing site in Broomfield, Colorado.
What you'll do:
Eaton's ES AMER Power Reliability Division (PRD) is seeking a Quality Assistant at our Broomfield, CO site (no relocation). This entry-level role supports the Quality team with administrative, record keeping, and basic technical tasks tied to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. The role partners with Manufacturing, EHS, and Testing to ensure accurate records and compliance with quality procedures.
Essential Functions:
• Scan, organize, and file quality, manufacturing, EHS, and testing records in accordance with ISO 9001 record control requirements.
• Maintain calibration logs and records for inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
• Track calibration due dates and assist with notifications and follow-up under direction of Quality personnel.
• File and organize calibration certificates and related documentation.
• Assist with preparation of basic quality reports and metrics (e.g., PPAP, FAI, Certificate of Compliance).
• Perform minimal inspection duties as needed, such as basic visual inspections or verification against documented criteria, under supervision.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business and quality objectives.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 0-2 years of experience in an administrative, manufacturing, or quality-related role
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to or basic knowledge of ISO 9001 or quality management systems.
• Experience scanning, filing, or maintaining controlled records.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments or basic inspection activities.
• Experience with electronic document management or QMS systems.
