Responsibilities

The RN Quality Assistant is responsible for assisting in the Director of Quality Management in the management of efficient, cost effective operations of the performance improvement functions for the assigned PAM Health hospital(s). The Quality Assistant will coordinate with DQM, the hospital and medical staff leadership to foster a culture of safety by coordinating the design, measurement, assessment, and planning activities to improve patient care and organization functions. Serves as a liaison with accrediting and regulatory bodies such as TJC, CMS, and Department of Health. Assists in providing direction and assistance to the medical staff regarding medical staff quality measures.

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Pay Range

USD $43.00 - USD $59.00 /Hr.
