FedEx Pick up & Delivery Driver – Competitive pay, monthly bonuses, well maintained vehicles, & Home for Dinner!
QIC seeks a Full-Time or Part-Time FedEx Pick up & Delivery Driver.  You can work by yourself, deliver a wide variety of packages to businesses and residential homes in the Western Shawnee & Lenexa area, drive a well-maintained FedEx Ground vehicle, and be part of our positive QIC team atmosphere.  QIC encourages a healthy work & life balance.  A QIC schedule will allow you to be home for dinner.
QIC will energetically seek to create a schedule to work best for you.  All QIC positions are Day Shifts, with opportunity to work Full-Time or Part-Time, ranging from 1-5 days/week.  QIC also has available weekend only shifts. 
This is a fast-paced position with positive interactions and results to your day!
Tasks include using a GPS system, delivering packages, following safety & DOT regulations, and maintaining time. We do not micromanage!
QIC Corporation is a contracted service provider with FedEx and has been a successful business for 13 years.  A general day in the life of a QIC FedEx Package & Delivery Driver consists of beginning the day at the terminal/driver Hub between 7:30-8:00 am, completing a pre-trip inspection, and ensuring your truck is efficiently loaded.  While FedEx loaders load your truck, organization & efficiency reduces time and maximizes your positive daily outcome.  Once efficiently loaded & released, you will have a short drive to the delivery area in Western Shawnee & Lenexa to complete the delivery of packages.  Packages come in all shapes, sizes, and weights.  While many packages will be small to medium, FedEx allows packages to be up to 150lbs. With larger packages, you will have assistance of dollies (and teammates if necessary).  This position is an active, physical, and fast-paced position.  You must have self-initiative.  You will be bending, bending at the knees, lifting, moving quickly, and working in the KS weather.  Upon completing your day, you will return your truck to the terminal.  QIC managers carefully plan routes to be completed no later than 5:00-5:30pm; with appreciable potential to be done earlier.
****Station Location(s): Lenexa Hub (8000 Cole Pkwy, Lenexa, KS) -or- Olathe Hub (22525 W. 167th St. Olathe, KS) 
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a Driver's License
  • No CDL necessary
  • Must be able to pass a background check (no felony or misdemeanor), no DUI's, drug test (No MJ, nor MJ prescriptions not allowed per DOT), and DOT physical.  All expenses paid by employer.
  • Experience in delivery or driving is fantastic, but QIC also welcomes drivers with no professional driving history.  QIC is happy to train for this position, paid training.  We have great managers with terrific training abilities with a positive Professional Driver outcome! 
  • Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, good communication, customer service, & decision-making skills, with high initiative.
