Job description

Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join a comprehensive, multidisciplinary oncology practice at Providence Cancer Institute Franz Clinic, located on the campus of Providence Portland Medical Center.
In this specialized outpatient role, the Oncology Advanced Practice Provider will participate in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of patients with cancer across various stages of care. You will work collaboratively with Medical Oncologists and an experienced, supportive care team that includes Registered Nurses, Patient Navigators, Researchers, Social Workers, Nutritionists, Integrative Medicine, Palliative Care, Clinical Pharmacy, and other allied health professionals. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, patient-centered oncology care.
Position Highlights:
  • Outpatient position, full-time (1.0 FTE)
  • Four 10-hour weekdays; open to five 8-hour workdays. No nights, weekends, or call
  • Collaborative, team-based practice within a comprehensive cancer program
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate (NP or PA-C)
  • Minimum of 2 years of oncology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
  • Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, evidence-based cancer care
  • Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) or equivalent for Physician Associate required within 12 months of hire
