Job description

Join the Providence ExpressCare Spokane team as a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
As a Mission based, community focused service, our clinics provide the perfect work life balance with a 3-day week schedule. ExpressCare serves as a critical access point for the organization, supporting overflow of patients from primary care, urgent care and emergency departments. There is plenty of variety in our services which demand critical thinking and clinic-based procedures, which provides variety every day.
ExpressCare serves the purpose of providing access to our communities, both in person and virtually, while also offering a more predictable day with a schedule of 30 twenty-minute appointments in a 12-hour period. The staffing model consists of a single provider and a medical assistant, with a support structure in place across the system. Included in the generous compensation package is the potential for a productivity incentive.
Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine, as well as having the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will enjoy the opportunity to respond to the needs of the local service area as they arise.   • 3 days-per-week, full-time schedule
  • Both in-office and virtual visits throughout each shift
  • Health, vision, dental, paid time off, 401k and malpractice insurance is provided
  • 2+ years' experience (post degree) required in an Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or other Primary Care Setting
  • Compensation is between $125,136 and $164,333 per year
  • The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them

ExpressCare is part of the Providence Clinical Network (PCN), which provides patients access to optimized ambulatory services with a consumer-centric, connected focus. The Providence ExpressCare clinics are reducing barriers and creating a network of same-day care options that are easily accessible across the state of Washington. By building out a network for ambulatory care across Providence, the PCN offers ease, transparency, and lower costs. This work is foundational to evolving the Providence delivery model to enhance the future of convenient care.
