The QA Analyst independently owns quality validation for assigned modules or features by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test coverage. This role ensures system functionality, identifies risks proactively, and supports release readiness while aligning with Civix QA governance, standards, and best practices. The QA Analyst is expected to adapt to evolving project needs, maintain high-quality documentation, and contribute to consistent QA processes across engagements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test casesย 
  • Validate defect fixes independently and close tickets after thorough verificationย 
  • Participate in sprint planning, defect triage, and Agile ceremoniesย 
  • Identify testing gaps, edge cases, and potential quality risks early in the cycleย 
  • Support UAT activities and reproduce production issues for validation and RCAย 
  • Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and QA Leads to clarify requirements and expected outcomesย 
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defectsย 
  • Adapt to changing project needs, priorities, and timelines while maintaining quality standardsย 
  • Maintain clear, structured, and up-to-date QA documentation (test cases, results, validation checklists)ย 
  • Align with Civix QA governance, standards, and testing best practices across projectsย 
  • Ensure consistency in testing approach, documentation, and defect reportingย 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, templates, and checklistsย 
  • Provide timely updates on testing progress, risks, and blockers to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience with manual testing methodologies and QA best practicesย 
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologiesย 
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking toolsย 
  • Ability to analyze requirements and design effective test coverageย 
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
