Senior QA Analyst

Location: Nashville, TN / or within approximately 1 hour / Hybrid

Employment Type: Full Time W-2 with benefits

Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst to support high-quality software delivery while helping advance QA practices across the organization. This role combines hands-on testing with the opportunity to drive QA process improvement and promote a culture of quality across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead QA efforts across projects ensuring comprehensive test coverage
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Perform manual testing across functional, regression, performance, and security areas
  • Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution
  • Collaborate with product, development, and business teams to ensure quality outcomes
  • Participate in requirements and code reviews to assess testability and risk
  • Analyze results and provide QA metrics and reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
  • Promote QA best practices
  • Facilitate QA activities including test planning and defect triage
  • Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards
  • Support end-user training and adoption of new features
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of QA experience including senior or lead responsibilities
  • From scratch, develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Strong expertise in manual testing and QA methodologies
  • Experience creating structured test strategies and documentation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Support test automation efforts using modern tools and frameworks
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or JUnit
  • Experience in the utility or regulated industry
