Job description

Trigyn's direct government client based out of Waterbury, Vermont, has an immediate long-term opportunity for Senior QA Tester. The particulars of the position are as follows. Description: The Quality Assurance (QA) Senior Tester will work to provide quality assurance and software testing services related to Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) projects as well as limited support for Maintenance and Operational (M&O) support. The QA Senior Tester will lead the testing team and coordinate testing activities, draft test cases, peer review test cases, execute test cases, map test cases to requirements or user stories, assist with acceptance criteria elicitation, log, and retest defects. Additional services include automation tool use in the creation of automation suites for regression testing, drafting test plans, drafting test summary reports, and reporting on testing progress to project stakeholders. The client’s Quality Assurance Testing Team follows the ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119-3:2013 standardization for Software Testing as it applies to Waterfall, Agile, RAD, or other SDLC lifecycles. The consultant will produce project deliverables using Microsoft Office products in v2007 or newer (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, etc.), and Adobe PDF, or other formats acceptable to the client.
