Duration: 12 Months
Location: Glen Allen, VA Hybrid - Locals Only
Onsite Mon, Tue & ThuRemote Mon & Fri (8am - 5pm EST)
Hybrid model subject to change onsite 5 days per week based on business needs
Looking for an IT Systems Analyst - Oracle with a strong background in software testing. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for day-to-day support and optimization of software applications (client and Web), to include builds, upgrades, defect management and system enhancements. You will analyze business needs, evaluate software releases, and give recommendations to optimize processes and decrease expenses. To be successful, you will have:
Responsibilities
  • Capabilities to support the delivery of large complex projects or to function as a group leader and/or integral team member.
  • Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support of large complex applications.
  • Considerable experience in multiple IT areas with several years of relevant senior subject matter expertise in the following areas:
    • High level and detailed designs
    • System architecture
    • Production systems
    • Online and batch processing environments
    • System to system real time interfaces
    • System to system batch and data transfer interfaces
    • Full life cycle development of information systems
    • Experience in systems with n-tiered architectures
    • You will also provide professional expertise in software test analysis, scripting in manual and automated test frameworks, test execution and reporting, allowing for continuous improvement in test efficiency, test cycle times, and completeness of testing coverage.
  • Requirements Analysis and Test Scenario development
  • Development of the manual and automated test scripts
  • Set up and execute manual or automated test scripts.
  • Logging & recording of the test outcomes/results
  • Daily reporting of the progress/status of the test execution
  • Analysis and recovery from the execution errors
  • Assist with the maintenance of the test scripts library.
  • Assist UAT Leads on various testing techniques and tools, issues related to test analysis, scripting, execution, results reporting and monitoring and their recommendations for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5- 7 years in system analyses and testing of large-scale production n-tier.
    • Proficient in the following tools/technologies: Oracle SQL, MongoDB, and Java Spring application architecture (non-developer)
    • Linux (navigation/log retrieval) and experience with UI Path is a plus
