Title: Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Description:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to lead testing and quality assurance efforts across a variety of IT projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both manual and automated testing, excellent leadership skills, and hands-on experience with enterprise applications like Maximo and Cityworks.
  • You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of software solutions by developing test strategies, executing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall environments and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead QA efforts for small to medium-sized IT projects.
  • Develop and execute test plans, use cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual and automated testing using tools like Selenium, SOAPUI, and Appium.
  • Conduct API testing for RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project goals.
  • Track and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Rally.
  • Prepare QA documentation and project status reports.
  • Support data validation and reporting using PowerBI and SQL queries.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy practices and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of QA experience, including leadership roles.
  • Strong experience with Maximo and Cityworks applications.
  • Proficiency in:

o Selenium, SOAPUI, REST/SOAP APIs

o SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL

o PowerBI, Jenkins, GitHub

o Appium, Perfecto (Mobile Testing)

o JIRA, Rally

  • Experience with Microsoft.Net, Java, PHP/MySQL applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Water Utilities industry.
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
  • Familiarity with Log4j, JDBC, and continuous integration tools.
  • Experience with statistical reporting and data analysis.
