Job description


Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support for new business opportunities such as BOM and Cut Specifications for given prints
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain samples, prints, and solutions in support of respective Project Engineer
  • Support Project Engineers documentation as requested that is used to support customer (issue matrices, product list, PPAP summaries, new component summaries, milestones, specifications, component requests, print distribution, and contact lists
  • Utilize Plex and MAPs to support assigned customers.
  • Assist with group metrics and procedures
  • Support Project Engineers with new customer quoting opportunities and assistance to existing customers.
  • Comply with and enforce the PKC Group Environmental Health and Safety Policy
  • Comply with the environmental work instructions applicable to their job position.
  • Report any deviation on the environmental operational controls established and communicate improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in EHS training.

Education & Experience:
Minimum:
  • 2 years of college classes towards a Bachelor of Science degree.

Preferred:
  • The incumbent should be familiar with desktop publishing (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, and Visio).

Skill & Knowledge Requirements:
  • Incumbent should be comfortable to contact vendors for pricing and for assistance.
  • The incumbent should have good communication skills
  • Be comfortable with tools and perform reworks to wiring.

Working Conditions:
  • Medium physical activity - ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
