TrendLife is looking for a seasoned communications professional to lead media relations in the US, with a secondary responsibility supporting analyst relations. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution - you'll shape how top-tier journalists understand and cover TrendLife, while also rolling up your sleeves to pitch stories, prep spokespeople, and manage media inquiries directly.

You'll be part of a global communications team, collaborating closely with counterparts across APAC, EMEA, and Latin America to drive consistent, high-impact narratives worldwide.

What You'll Do

  • Develop media relations and messaging strategy to support technology, partnership, education or program initiatives.

  • Provide guidance and counsel to regional counterparts to ensure global consistency and achievement of KPIs.

  • Act as an on-the-record spokesperson on behalf of TrendLife when appropriate, representing the brand with credibility and consistency. Develop and maintain global spokesperson bench.

  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for media relations agencies. Ensure support for media inquiries, including coordinating responses with internal subject matter experts and executives as needed.

  • Develop industry analyst relations strategy. Coordinate briefings and inquiries with key industry analysts relevant to the consumer AI and cybersecurity space.

  • Assist in synthesizing analyst perspectives for internal stakeholders to inform product direction, product messaging or go to market strategies.

  • Help track analyst research calendars and flag opportunities for TrendLife inclusion in relevant reports.

  • Draft press releases, talking points, FAQs, and other briefing materials.

  • Monitor coverage and provide actionable reporting on media results and sentiment.

  • Manage North America and European PR agency relationships, including scope, budget, and performance accountability.

  • Work with field and product marketing teams to support launches, announcements, and issues management.

  • Leverage AI tools to improve research, media monitoring, briefing preparation, and reporting workflows.

  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase team efficiency without sacrificing quality.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in public relations, strategic communications, and industry analyst relations with a strong focus on the consumer technology industry.

  • Experience managing external PR agencies in multiple countries, including setting expectations, reviewing work, and holding teams accountable to results. Track record of securing substantive media coverage.

  • Proven experience overseeing industry analyst relations. Previously established direct relationships with key analysts a plus.

  • Comfort and experience serving as a spokesperson, preferably in broadcast, engaging directly with media on the record.

  • Familiarity with global communications campaigns spanning multiple markets.

  • Background in or exposure to issues management and crisis communications.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate inside a global organization, navigating cross-regional teams and multiple time zones.

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools for research, drafting, monitoring, or workflow efficiency, and comfort adopting new tools as they emerge.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong judgment under pressure.
