We're seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and business-minded Bid Manager to join a team that plays a critical role in helping AGS pursue and win new business opportunities. This is more than a proposal management position-it's an opportunity to partner with leaders across Business Development, Sales, Solutions, Operations, and Finance to help shape how AGS brings innovative workforce solutions to market.

As a Bid Manager, you'll serve as a strategic partner throughout the pursuit process, bringing together subject matter experts, managing complex proposal timelines, developing compelling client-facing content, and helping translate AGS' differentiated solutions into winning proposals. Your work will directly contribute to business growth by supporting some of the organization's most important client opportunities.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of stakeholders and business functions, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise in proposal strategy, stakeholder management, workforce solutions, and business development. Responsibilities

  • Project manage the bid process from RFx receipt through submission, ensuring a consistently high-quality deliverable aligned with client requirements and AGS strategy.
  • Write proposals and related documentation supporting AGS MSP, Services Procurement (SOW), and associated workforce solutions offerings.
  • Partner with Sales, Solutions, and Operations teams to develop opportunity win themes and pursuit strategies from pre-tender receipt through negotiation stages.
  • Collaborate with pitch development teams to create compelling presentations and client-facing materials that effectively communicate AGS' value proposition.
  • Champion customer needs throughout proposal development sessions, pitch creation activities, and the overall bid process.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to build differentiated, compelling, and client-focused solutions.
  • Ensure all client-facing deliverables align with AGS branding standards, quality expectations, and proposal requirements.
  • Facilitate gate reviews, proposal strategy discussions, and proposal development meetings.
  • Contribute innovative ideas that enhance proposal content, solution positioning, and pursuit effectiveness.
  • Review and provide feedback on proposal responses and RFx submissions developed by other team members.
  • Manage document production, version control, distribution, and quality assurance activities.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance the proposal response database (Loopio).
  • Document bid activity, opportunity updates, and pursuit information within Salesforce CRM.
Qualifications

Core Competencies, Skills, and Experience
3-7 years of proposal writing experience
3-5 years managing and developing direct reports
Ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines
Highly organized workingmethod with strong attention to detail
Ability to work with, and coordinate input from a wide range ofstakeholders at all levels
Strong organizational and communication skills
High levels of grammatical, spelling and formatting accuracy
Strong team player, with ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Proven skills in producing and editing content in a business environment
Advanced user of MS Wordand PowerPoint in accordance with corporate brand guidelines
Competent user of Excel
Ability to manage time, multi-task and thrive in a pressurized, deadline-driven environment
Desirable Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Managed Services, RPO, Services Procurement or recruitment knowledge/ experience
Knowledge of proposal automationsoftware
