Job description

Property Management Bookkeeper must know Buildium and Quick books,should live in Orlando,not live in another state.

Flexible, remote, part-time position. Majority of workload is during the first two weeks of each month. Desired skill sets in Quick Books, Excel, and Buildium Management Software or similar platform.

Schedule

Work primarily from home with weekly scheduled office meetings in Orlando office.

Job Summary

A general bookkeeper who works on the accounting records for a Real Estate Property Management company must know Buildium Software and QuickBooks.

Duties and responsibilities

Buildium Management Software is dedicated to rentals with Owner and Tenant relations.

The majority of responsibilities include: Collecting rents, Paying bills, Reconciliations, Record keeping, and account set ups.

· Bank reconciliation of all accounts each month including Escrow and Operating accounts.

· Prepare payments and withdrawals, process invoices, record and distribute reports, and upload documents.

· Provide reports to owners and respond to their accounting questions.

· Perform other related duties such as reporting, cash flow forecasting, annual 1099 generation, etc.

Demand

· Ability to use or quickly learn Buildium Management Accounting Software and quickbooks to record and analyze financial data.

· Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.

· Understand and follow state and federal reporting requirements

· Understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and accounting controls.

· Need laptop computer with good security and understand data integrity

Job type: part-time

Pay: $3,000 per month as contractor, with bonus options at the end of the year. If you are a CPA, you have potential to also grow your business from our data base of owners.

Experience

Bookkeeping experience: 5 years (preferred) in a property management company
Ability to record, analyze financial data. Skills preferred in Excel,Buildium, Quick Books accounting software.
Work place: Majority remote
