  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $129,464 to $142,665 + super

The role

The Development Manager manages and delivers development, advisory, and transaction projects for government property assets and portfolios, specifically for the purpose of workplace accommodation. This includes managing complex projects that require creative problem-solving and collaboration with diverse stakeholders to achieve commercial, social and community benefits.

You'll bring your expertise to guide projects through feasibility, strategy, stakeholder consultation, and delivery stages. Whether it's rezoning, remediation, development, or divestment, your work will directly support government priorities and contribute to a more connected, sustainable and liveable NSW.

What you will bring to the role

  • Strong project management skills across complex property, planning, procurement, workplace design and construction, with a proven ability to deliver outcomes in high-pressure and changing contexts.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities across legal, political, and community interfaces.
  • A collaborative and strategic mindset, backed by sound commercial acumen and a drive to identify opportunities and solutions across a diverse property portfolio.

 

What is an essential requirement:

Tertiary qualifications in property and development management, construction project management or equivalent professional experience.
