Position Summary:

The Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient and effective management of a residential property portfolio within the apartment industry. Working closely with the Property Manager and other team members, the Assistant Property Manager contributes to the overall success of the property by assisting in various administrative, operational, and tenant-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Tenant Relations:

    • Interact with tenants to address inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
    • Assist in the leasing process, including conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
    • Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, conducting inspections as necessary.
  2. Administrative Support:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenant information, leases, and maintenance requests.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and other documentation.
    • Manage communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  3. Property Maintenance:

    • Collaborate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and routine maintenance.
    • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
    • Coordinate with vendors for necessary services and repairs.
  4. Financial Management:

    • Assist in rent collection and ensure accurate and timely recording of payments.
    • Support budgetary goals and financial objectives through careful monitoring and reporting.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
  5. Compliance and Regulations:

    • Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations affecting property management.

  6. Team Collaboration:
