Summary
The purpose of this position is to plan project activities by creating and maintaining Project timelines and tracking matrices. This position is responsible for aligning and kicking off the team on the base plan of each project won, schedule and run weekly meetings to report status to management with highlighting on critical issues, activities trending late and bringing attention to upcoming activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
(these are the positions essential duties and is not an all inclusive list)
  • Participate in Level One Meetings with the Program Manager to review timing of the project in order to create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based timeline.
  • Work closely with Project Manager and other departments to ensure critical changes that affect the project timeline are adjusted on the project timeline.

  • Present and explain plans, reports, and findings to management.
  • Ensure project teams are continuously updating the timelines and tracking progress in different tools
  • Create and run reports for communication purposes to the Project Teams for the One Line Meeting.
  • Manage and execute initiatives that drives efficiencies in project execution through different phases

Qualifications (Education, Training, Certification, Licenses, Experience)
  • Associates Degree in Information Technology; Bachelor degree preferred.
  • 0-2 yrs experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge , Skills & Abilities
  • Demonstrated experience working with MS Project
  • Proficient in Excel, specially Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, and data cleaning tools
  • Automate tasks and create functional reports like Data Validation, conditional formatting, and optionally macros/VBA
  • Proficiency in Power Query for data transformation, dynamic arrays, and building complex, automated dashboards is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Project/Program Management Preferred
