Keysight's Global Solutions Enablement Team is seeking a talented and motivated Engineering Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing custom solutions for our customers, based on Keysight hardware and software. We like to refer to this as Hardware + Software + People (you!) = Insight. For this position you can reside anywhere in the United States but a metro area with a significant electronics industry is highly preferred. We are seeking an individual with significant industry expertise and an extensive network of professional contacts to augment our strong team of test experts.


Responsibilities

Managing complex projects to deliver on time and on budget, including responsibility for

  • Defining custom services & solutions quotes
  • Understanding and documentation of customer requirements
  • Creating statements of work (SOW) and internal cover letters to define quotes
  • Managing required approvals from Revenue and Legal
  • Scheduling team and customer meetings and project reviews
  • Interfacing and building relationships with customers and internal teammates
  • Tracking progress against the project plan and schedule

Qualifications

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or computer science and a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in technical project management
  • Experience in Electronics/High Tech industry
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired
  • Understanding of the TaskRay project management tool is highly desired
  • Experience with test and measurement products and test automation software
  • Understanding of test system automation programming, including estimation of scope and development effort.
  • Excellent communication skills. Able to document customer requirements, create accurate and compelling Statements of Work, lead project meetings, and track action items / owners.
  • Highly organized and able to use planning tools effectively and successfully execute on a project plan
  • Understanding of Keysight instruments, their general use, and start up requirements
  • US citizen or US Person
  • Understanding of sales process, able to assist in closing business
  • Approximately 25% travel may be required
