Project Engineer | Natural Gas Pipeline & Facilities | Hybrid Flexibility

Looking to take ownership of impactful pipeline and facility projects while growing your project management and technical engineering skills? What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead and coordinate natural gas pipeline, compressor station, and metering station projects
  • Manage project schedules, deliverables, budgets, risks, and client communication
  • Perform engineering reviews, technical evaluations, and design support
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, GIS, survey, construction, and project management
  • Support projects from initial planning through execution and closeout
What We're Looking For
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of project or design engineering experience in the natural gas industry
  • Experience with pipeline projects (facility experience is a plus)
  • Strong project management and client-facing communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • PMP, EIT, CADWorx, Navisworks, SolidWorks, or similar experience is a plus

Work Environment

This position operates in a medium-sized, multidisciplinary engineering office with approximately 60 team members, including field staff, engineers, and project managers. The typical schedule follows a hybrid model with three days in the office and two days working from home each week. The organization offers flexible work arrangements and is open to remote or near-remote structures, including the possibility of coming into the office only periodically, depending on location and business needs. Candidates must be willing to travel to project sites as required to support field activities and project execution. For remote work, a reliable high-speed internet connection is necessary, with download speeds of approximately 80–100 Mbps, upload speeds of approximately 20–30 Mbps, latency under 50 ms, and a wired Ethernet connection preferred, though strong Wi-Fi 5 or 6 is acceptable. Pay and Benefits
