A leading national design-build general contractor is expanding its project management team and seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support major data center, advanced technology, industrial, and mission-critical construction projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career construction professional looking to build experience on large, technically complex projects with a contractor offering long-term career growth.
What You'll Do- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project execution
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, procurement, change management, cost tracking, and documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, field teams, design partners, and project leadership
- Participate in project meetings and help maintain schedule and quality objectives
- Develop toward increased project ownership and future Project Manager responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Early-career construction experience preferred
- Experience with a general contractor or design-build environment is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel or accept project assignments as needed
