Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, we work with a range of clients nationwide to bring their visions to life.


Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Project Manager based in Minneapolis, MN. The Project Manager will oversee event production projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client expectations. Responsibilities include managing logistics, coordinating schedules, booking labor, overseeing CAD drawings, expediting tasks, managing equipment logistics, and leading cross-functional teams on show site to achieve project goals. The role requires a high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to maintain project flow and quality.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Project Management and task coordination
  • Must have at least 4 + years of experience in the Live Events industry
  • Strong skills in Logistics Management for event production
  • Effective organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced, collaborative work environment
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic situations
  • Experience managing project budgets
  • Familiarity with reading and editing CAD drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite


Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Labor:  

  • Acquire and book contract labor  
  • Manage teams on show site for set, strike, and run of event
  • Ensure terms and billing arrangements are understood 
  • Book all job-related travel  
  • Manage rates and costs 
  • Interview and vet new local and national contractors 
  • Update the contractor call sheet 
  • Collaborate with other Project Management staff on “Best Practices.” 


Show Documents 

  • Create 2D or 3D CAD drawings  
  • Collaborate with team on CAD drawings (when applicable)  
  • Ensure drawings are updated throughout pre-production process 
  • Manage creation of pull sheets for each department (3 weeks out) 
  • Create NON departmental pull sheet (3 weeks out) 
  • Create Production schedule PDF (2-3 weeks out) 
  • Compile “Show Advance” materials: Crew Advance, Venue Letter, Floorplans, Schedules, Crew sign in/out, Other materials as needed 

Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate with Client Services team on order changes 
  • Schedule and lead technical meetings 
  • Initial project design and planning with Client Services team  
  • Departmental meetings on large projects 
  • Final technical meeting with Departments when needed (1 week out) 
  • Collaborate with leadership on potential “opportunistic equipment purchases.”

This is a salaried, full-time, in-person position. This position works in an office, a warehouse or a show site environment and involves physically moving heavy equipment with appropriate tools. This position must be able to stand for long periods of time and needs to be able to lift 50lbs with assistance safely. Nationwide travel is required for this position.
