The Finance Products & Delivery Systems (FPDS) Product organization manages a portfolio of business-critical products that transform how Capital One operates and supports the broader Finance organization and enterprise.

Embedded within FPDS Product is a high-impact team of project managers driving small to large-scale initiatives aligned with our product portfolio. This team also ensures the cadence and standards of our Product Ecosystem and operating model are flawlessly executed within their local portfolio. We are seeking an innovative, bold project leader who takes ownership of outcomes, navigates ambiguity, and effectively collaborates with diverse stakeholders across varying priorities.

Project Execution & Lifecycle Management

  • Plan, design, manage, and execute strategic and tactical project plans to ensure on-time delivery across the full product lifecycle.

  • Maintain project governance and documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, and key artifacts, adapting structures to meet changing requirements.

  • Leverage analytical skills and sound judgment to manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, and budgets.

Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Communication

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships across all organizational levels to ensure accountability and commitment delivery.

  • Communicate complex project updates, risks, and strategic recommendations concisely to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Utilize a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to align stakeholders with competing priorities.

Product Operations & Process Optimization

  • Act as the primary liaison to the Product Operations team, ensuring product leaders are prepared and aligned for organizational-wide deliverables.

  • Partner with Product Leaders to identify, design, and implement local process improvements that enhance ways of working and elevate the team experience.

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and establish scalable, standardized business processes across the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 4 years of end-to-end Project Management or Product Management experience leading cross-functional strategic or technical initiatives

  • At least 3 years of experience with Agile or Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies

  • At least 2 years of experience using Google Suite (Sheets and Slides) or Microsoft (Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or MBA

  • 5+ years of Program Management, Project Management, or Product Management experience

  • 2+ years of experience in leading cross-functional teams within an organization

  • 2+ years of experience in Process Management

  • PMP (Project Management Professional), Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Prosci Change Management or Business Process Management certification

  • 2+ years of change management experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Sales Territory: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Project Management


McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Project Management


Richmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Project Management









Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
