Job description

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Controls Specialist opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN at the Y-12 National Security Complex.
Position Overview:
The Project Controls Specialist provides varied project controls support, which includes:
  • Primavera P6 utilization
  • Schedule development and maintenance
  • Cost analysis and controls
  • Earned value measurement
  • Reporting

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Facilitates internal team communication and meetings.
  • Assists with customer interactions, including tracking project management deliverables and presenting project management status to external or internal customers.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 20+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with Primavera P6.
  • Must have experience with schedule development and maintenance, cost analysis and control, earned value measurement, and reporting.
  • Must be able to resolve complex issues, strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing priorities.

Other Job Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" security clearance.

Work Schedule:
Typical work schedule will be Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days (4/10 schedule)
