Job description

Project Architect / Project Manager

Hopkins, MN (Hybrid) | Direct Hire | $90k - $115k

Konik is partnering with a growing, relationship-driven architectural firm to add a Project Architect / Project Manager to their team. This is a high-visibility role where you'll take ownership of commercial projects from design through construction, manage small teams, and support long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage architectural projects from concept through construction administration
  • Lead day-to-day project execution, coordinating internal team members (typically 2โ€“4 people)
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success
  • Develop and produce design documentation across all phases
  • Coordinate drawings, specifications, and technical details
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning, and industry standards
  • Participate in construction administration, including submittals, site visits, and RFIs
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
  • Support communication between all project stakeholders to maintain schedule and quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Registration is a plus
  • 8โ€“15 years of experience in architectural design and project management
  • Well-rounded background across commercial project types
  • Experience managing projects and small teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Revit (ability to navigate and make updates as needed)
  • Strong understanding of building systems, detailing, and construction documentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
