Who You Are

You're a data-driven problem-solver with a strong analytical mind and a focus on financial accuracy and profitability. You have a knack for working with financial systems as well as the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel). You take charge in finding answers, and ensuring our billing and financial processes are optimized for success. Your detail-oriented approach, ability to think independently, and commitment to teamwork make you a valuable asset to our dynamic environment. Only candidates that live in Colombo and surrounding areas will be considered for this position.

What You Will Do
 
 
  • Financial Analysis & Optimization:
    • Maintain and enhance our financial tracking systems, ensuring the accuracy of project revenue, costs, billing, and profitability metrics.
    • Develop and distribute critical reports, providing insights into financial performance.
    • Meticulously review data to ensure the integrity of our financial records.
  • Project Billing Support:
    • Manage project requests, ensuring they align with financial standards and optimize efficiency.
    • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of billing requisitions to protect revenue streams.
    • Collaborate across departments to streamline billing processes and resolve issues.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Participate in forecasting exercises with project managers, providing data-backed insights on potential risks and opportunities.
    • Act as a bridge between project teams and finance, ensuring alignment between financial targets and operational plans.
 
Qualifications
 
  • Essential:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with proven financial or billing experience.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience working with financial systems.
    • Highly analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    • Ability to independently research, problem-solve, and take initiative to find solutions.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong Advantages:
    • Experience with project management software or methodologies.
    • Understanding of accounting principles.
    • Experience in a fast-paced IT consulting environment.
 
Working Conditions
 
  • Primarily remote-based, with occasional on-site presence in our Colombo office
