Job description

Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, client-first Customer Service Representative to join our fast-paced agency. You will be the trusted point of contact for our policyholders, helping them navigate coverage;

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email regarding their insurance policies.
  • Shopping and provide quotes with explanation of benefits and coverage options.
  • Process insurance policy changes and endorsements.
  • Cross selling other insurance products that ensures adequate coverage and no risk gaps.
  • Review policy renewals and advise clients on appropriate coverage levels.
  • Help resolve billing questions and assist with basic claims intake.

Your Experience:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience, ideally in an insurance agency setting.
  • Strong communication skills with an empathetic and patient approach.
  • Proficiency with insurance agency management software CRMs (e.g., EZLynx, AMS360).

The position requires an experienced and highly organized person who is capable of multitasking between roles. The ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple priorities in a face paced work environment, remain calm under pressure, and consistently maintain a professional attitude and demeanor.

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or GED required; an associate degree in finance or business is a plus.
  • Active Texas Property and Casualty and or Life and Health Insurance and better still General Lines license (Required).

Typical Work Environment:

  • Professional office setting of an Insurance Agency.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking between phone, in-person visitors, and computer work.
  • Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and flexibility to work overtime and some Saturdays as needed.
