Job Description:

The Senior Manager of Program Management for Maritime's Imaging Systems (IS) business will manage a large dynamic P&L. Key functions will include managing all aspects of portfolio performance, including cost, technical, and schedule milestones, coordinating with functional offices to ensure program compliance, leading program proposal efforts, and managing reporting requirements. A background with experience leading development programs with cross-functional teams is preferred for this position. The ideal candidate will deliver cutting-edge imaging and submarine system capabilities to customers across various contract types. This is an exciting leadership role and a fantastic chance to collaborate with an exceptional team!

Essential Functions:

  • Manage, lead and coordinate cross functional program teams to deliver on schedule, within scope and on budget.
  • Manage full project lifecycle in line with contractual requirements and company standards.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and budgets via EVM processes.
  • Monitor and mitigate project risks and opportunities, able to adapt strategies in a dynamic international environment.
  • Serve as the primary stakeholder interface, including communication with internal leadership, international customers, suppliers, and other partners.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, export controls (e.g., ITAR/EAR), and contractual obligations across regions.
  • Drive cultural awareness, communication and collaboration across multiple time zones and diverse work cultures.
  • Support business development activities, including proposals change control, and negotiations when relevant.
  • Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Manages the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience leading a highly visible and fast paced portfolio, reporting directly to Program Director
  • Requires knowledge leading a portfolio with reportable Earned Value.
  • Experience with development, transition to production, and low rate production programs.
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Prior experience as a Program Manager to international customer and / or major prime contractor
  • Strong interpersonal, EQ, and communication skills
  • Undersea systems experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with ITAR/EAR.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $133K-$247K. For California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $153-$284K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
