This role is primarily remote; however, depending on assignment and task requirements, in-person meetings in Atlanta or Phoenix may be expected.ย
Tasks & Responsibilities to be Assigned During Internship:
Capture intelligence: prototype AI tooling that monitors government websites and related sources for relevant Requests for Information, and proposal notices, flagging opportunities early enough for capture planning.
BD dashboard and CRM: build and maintain an AI-enabled dashboard and stakeholder CRM that track the pipeline, KPIs, milestones, and key government, partner, and internal contacts.
AI-assisted proposal drafting: use LLMs to accelerate drafts and reusable assets for government RFI and RFP responses, keeping outputs compliance-aware.
AI enablement and tool evaluation: research LLM capabilities, run internal sessions, and benchmark Government Contracting platforms to inform build-versus-buy decisions.
Program support: assist the Program Specialist with workflow automation, milestone tracking, documentation, and meeting preparation.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities from Intern:
Completing or recently completed a Master's in Artificial Intelligence in Business, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent education
Strong working knowledge of modern LLMs (Claude, GPT, Gemini) and prompt design.
Comfort building dashboards, trackers, or lightweight applications (Excel, BI tools, Python, or no-/low-code platforms).
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive, problem-solving mindset and comfort in an early-stage team without an established playbook.
Preferred: interest in defense or government contracting; familiarity with capture or proposal platforms or Microsoft Copilot; basic Python; Microsoft 365; German language. Valid U.S. Driver's License.
