Job Title: Sr. Specialist, Program Management

Job Code: 42242

Job Location: Camden, AR or Huntsville, AL

Job Description:

Assists with directing all phases of programs from proposal development through completion. Drives program execution to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, profit, and cash flow for an existing product line in continuous production. Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance for designated program. Assists with customer contact for program activities, leading review sessions with customers for all aspects of proposal development, negotiations, and execution. Assists with program support, production, and supply chain teams to ensure on time and on budget deliveries.

Essential Functions:

Works under general supervision with responsibility for entire project or process within the job area

Communicates with contacts within and outside organization (e.g. customers, suppliers, etc.) for execution of the program objectives

Responsible for managing the cost and schedule of their programs to ensure its financial well-being.

Work alongside financial team for requirements of financial, manpower, and supply chain forecasting, reporting, and variance justification

Responsible for directing and monitoring/updating program integrated master schedule (IMS) and overall program plan

Responsible for briefing customer and upper management on all facets of the program.

Ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Ability to travel up to 15%.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience with DoD contract execution

Position requires overtime work as needed to meet business objectives

Experience with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

Working knowledge of general production systems/methods and lean manufacturing principles
