Responsibilities

What You'll Doย 

Academic & Program Leadershipย 

  • Provide supervisory, strategic and operational leadership for all program faculty and staffย 

  • Ensure academic quality, instructional effectiveness, and student satisfactionย 

  • Maintain compliance with all institutional and programmatic accreditation standardsย 

  • Oversee advisory committee meetings, annual reports, self-studies, and site visitsย 

  • Monitor and drive completion, licensure, and placement outcomesย 

  • Review curriculum and implement continuous improvement initiativesย 

  • Teach courses as needed (per accreditor guidelines)ย 

Faculty Leadership & Developmentย 

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and develop program facultyย 

  • Conduct formal classroom observations and provide performance feedbackย 

  • Ensure faculty professional development and CEU complianceย 

  • Maintain complete and compliant faculty filesย 

  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative cultureย 

  • Recognize and reward faculty contributionsย 

Student Engagementย

  • Assist with orientation, SAP processes, and graduationย

Qualifications

Who You Are - Required Qualificationsย 

Educationย 

  • Bachelor's degree (in any field)ย 

  • AND minimum of Associate Degree in Medical Sonographyย 

Credentialsย 

Must hold registration in at least one specialty aligned with primary teaching responsibilitiesย 

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with specialty certifications in both Obstetrics and Gynecology (OIB/GYN) and Abdominal (AB)ย 

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Adult Echocardiography (AE) Specialtyย 

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)ย 

  • Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS)ย 

  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)ย 

Experienceย 

  • Minimum four (4) years full-time professional experience as a general sonographer or vascular technologistย 

  • Coursework in instructional methodologies, evaluation, and assessmentย 

  • Proficiency in curriculum developmentย 

Preferredย 

  • Prior teaching experienceย 

  • Leadership or supervisory experienceย 

  • Experience with accreditation processesย
