About the Position As Executive Director, you will lead our strategic and operational planning efforts to build a sustainable organization that will thrive well in the future. You will lead the organization’s strategic planning, fundraising process, and build upon the financial, human resources and operations infrastructure, to carry out the organization’s mission and program delivery success, while fostering a Christ-centered culture. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Your challenge - to take the organization to the next sustainable level, in building transformed, Christ-centered lives for the growing number of at-risk youths. About Us Agape House, founded in 1999, is a Christ-centered therapeutic and behavioral health counseling, housing and education center for at-risk youths in Wisconsin. Agape House’s mission is to transform at-risk youth, so they find hope, healing and purpose through Christ. Key Responsibilities Leadership, Strategic Planning and Board Relations • Partner with the BOD and staff, to implement the organization’s mission, strategic planning and programs, to achieve measurable outcomes and business plan success • Establish and enhance effective policies and procedures Fundraising and Resource Development • Responsible for securing funding, through donor solicitation and relationships, to ensure financial sustainability • Oversee the annual fundraising program, track and analyze fundraising performance External Relations and Community Outreach • Acts as the primary spokesperson and advocate for the mission of the organization, building relationships with community leaders, stakeholders, and partnerships Financial, Organization and Operations Management • Responsible for the sustainability, transparency, and financial planning process integrity • Develop and be accountable for managing budgets, payroll, and financial operations Staff and Volunteer Management • Leads and motivates staff and volunteers, focusing on retention, and staff development • Recruit, train, and retain a qualified staff and volunteer teams • Set the organizational culture for inspiring and motivating staff Spiritual Leadership • Provide Christ-centered spiritual leadership with internal and external contacts • Encourage spiritual growth and Christ-like character among staff and residents Youth Services and Behavioral Health / Trauma • Leading Program Directors in the counseling and care of at-risk / traumatized youth Professional Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Nonprofit management leadership experience • Leadership experience motivating and collaborating with staff and board members • Demonstrated successful fundraising experience • Excellent donor relations skills and understanding of the funding community • Strong financial and business planning management skills and analytics • Strong written and oral communication skills and public speaking ability • A Believer and spiritual follower of Christ • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Experience and / or knowledge of non-profit management systems a plus (e.g. Blackbaud, CharityEngine, Springly, Neon CRM, Charity Tracker, GiveButter, Keela, or Bloomerang)
