Job description

Looking for a strategic manufacturing leader who thrives on building systems, scaling operations, and turning ambitious ideas into reality. This person can confidently move between executive strategy meetings and the manufacturing floor, translating business objectives into operational success.

The Role:

The Manufacturing Director is responsible for leading strategic planning, execution, and continuous growth of this manufacturing program. This role owns the overall program roadmap, financial performance, operational execution, staffing strategy, and cross-functional coordination required to scale one of the company’s most important growth initiatives. Working closely with the CEO, R&D, Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT Teams, the Program Director will help keep strategic initiatives executed on time, within budget, and aligned with the company’s objectives. This leader will develop long-term expansion plans, remove roadblocks, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement across people, processes, and equipment. This is part of a first major expansion and home of new Manufacturing program.

● Develop and execute multi-year strategic roadmap for the Fastlane Program

● Establish milestones, KPIs, financial and operational objectives

● Evaluate program performance and recommend strategic pivots when necessary

● Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term growth strategies

● Partner with Sales and Marketing to support revenue objectives

● Work alongside R&D to align technology development with production needs

● Develop staffing strategies that support program expansion

● Present executive level program updates, forecasts, risks, and opportunities Management

● Manage and delegate team member activity as related to the project, which can include individuals from a variety of departments. ○ Maintain alignment across individuals, departments, and executives, ensuring milestones and deadlines are understood and met.

● In collaboration with the VP of Finance and the R&D Pillar Head, understand and effectively manage the project budget.

● Execute on staffing plans including lead & management layers.

● Ensure success of day-to-day operations

● Ensure continuous improvement deployments directly and via co-development with IT Day-to-Day

● Adjust the project plan as needed based on strategic pivots, finances, and/or targets.

● Execute on the plan, problem-solving both independently and collaboratively as needed.

● Communicate prioritization and provide guidance to Fast Lane program team members based on daily monitoring of project progress as compared to the project plan.

● Facilitate meetings with team members and cross-departmentally to maintain effective communication.

● Manage the execution of ISO/AS processes and annual recertifications on the shop floor.

● Support Sales & Marketing efforts for the Fast Lane program by providing operational updates and other guidance.

● Always practice excellent internal and external customer service, both domestically and overseas.

Required Qualifications:

● 5 years Experience in a Program Leadership Role

● Experience creating, maintaining and executing on long term strategic plans.

● Experience creating, maintaining and executing on financial plans and projections.

● Experience in high-growth programs/organizations

● Highly Inquisitive with a Desire to Learn

● Strong Computer Skills and General Technical Ability

● Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills

● Strong Listening and Presentation Skills

● Excellent Attention to Detail Preferred Qualifications:
