  • Collaborate with artistic and program staff to define project scopes, develop proposals, and support client relationships.
  • Represent Piece by Piece at meetings, presentations, networking events, and community engagements.
  • Build long-term client relationships that lead to repeat partnerships and referrals.

Fundraising Events and Board Engagement

  • Lead strategy and execution for Piece by Piece's annual signature fundraising event.
  • Support smaller board-led cultivation and fundraising gatherings throughout the year.
  • Leverage events as opportunities for donor engagement, stewardship, and long-term relationship building.
  • Partner closely with board members to strengthen fundraising participation and community connections.

Organizational Leadership and Collaboration

  • Partner with the Executive Director to align fundraising and earned revenue strategies with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure donor and client experiences are thoughtful, mission-aligned, and high quality.
  • Contribute to revenue forecasting, fundraising strategy, and organizational reporting.
  • Help articulate the value and impact of Piece by Piece's social enterprise model to donors, clients, and community stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in development, fundraising, business development or a related field strongly preferred.

  • Experience managing fundraising events with a focus on donor engagement and revenue growth.
  • Ability to translate mission into compelling funding and partnership opportunities.
