Program Coordinator Job Overview-Part Time Position

Position:

The Program Coordinator plays a key role in assisting the Program staff in strategic planning, administrative support, marketing, and practical day to day activities at Cancer Support Community Atlanta. Reports directly to Executive Director and supports both the Program Director and Physician Liaison in various aspects of programming.

Job Requirements:

  • Active LMSW or LCSW license in the state of Georgia


Key Competencies:

  • Outstanding interpersonal and patient assessment skills
  • Ability to represent CSC Atlanta in marketing opportunities
  • Database management

  • Willingness to learn and use Zoom and basic A/V tools


Position Description:

  • Assist Program Director and Hospital Liaison on day to day activities in areas including marketing, set up and reporting on organization's programs
  • Conduct personal intake assessments, helping to navigate patients to organization's programs that best serve their needs
  • Assist with program development and program/workshop support, including the management of program calendar
  • Support Hospital Liaison with outreach and presentations to clinicians and other external partners
  • Act as a substitute facilitator for support groups on a rare, as-needed basis
  • Provide basic technical assistance with virtual and hybrid programs via Zoom and other virtual platforms
  • Design reports and review data proactively to produce reports showing program trends, demographic profiles, and impact of outreach efforts on a regular and ad-hoc basis
  • Represent CSC Atlanta at various events and symposiums

Qualifications:

  • Masters in Social Work with an active LMSW or LCSW in the state of Georgia
  • Comfortable with MS 365, Zoom, and Dropbox
  • Previous database experience and ability to learn new platforms
  • A welcoming, warm personality who represents the organization's mission, culture, and service delivery model is essential
  • Must be available 18-20 hours per week
  • Position is in-person at CSC Atlanta facility
  • Hold the ability to uphold strict confidentiality
