Customer Delivery Manager in  GAC Savannah


Unique Skills:

  1. Broad overall familiarity with aircraft systems and supporting service programs, technical publications and maintenance equipment. 
  2. Broad knowledge of company product line and aircraft systems.
  3. Must we willing and able to travel as required and on short notice. Must be willing to support customer needs during and after normal working hours. 


 

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. 6 years relevant aviation experience preferably in aircraft completions or program management. Position Purpose: Serve as outfitting and delivery team leader for new aircraft projects, working directly with customers to manage all matters related to Completions manufacturing and delivery of the new aircraft. Collaborates with Completion & Delivery Executive as customer advocate/representative working together as a team for all matters related to the outfitting definition process.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
  1. Support outfitting definition process for on-time Completion Package approvals.
  2. Oversee the Production and Completion manufacturing to ensure the aircraft is built to specification and completed to Gulfstream quality standards.
  3. Monitors the Completions outfitting of the aircraft to ensure all applicable ASCs, ADs, SBs and GAC Quality Alerts are complied with prior to delivery.
  4. Monitors progress of aircraft build and completion process and reports status to customer through formal Weekly Status Reports (WSR).
  5. Monitors fleet quality, reliability and availability issues to ensure they are identified and resolved throughout the build process and through CCMT process.
  6. Attend and participate in Completions Operations status meetings.
  7. Responsible for completion specification changes through the work change request (WCR) process.
  8. Lead the customer in reviewing service provider subscription plans for the purpose of selecting and applying for Satcom, Datalink, FMS database update, technical publication revision and maintenance service plans. Provide timely and detailed reporting of service application status.
  9. Manage and track customer requirements for customized Passenger Briefing Cards.
  10. Schedule and manage customer participation in review, acceptance and delivery of new aircraft.
  11. Establishes key delivery milestones and requirements for timely delivery and successful Entry-into-Service (EIS).
  12. Participate in company Cold Soak test flights to ensure compliance with the Buyer-Approved Completion Package and the fit, finish and functionality are in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Gulfstream standard for quality.
  13. Guide customer through delivery process to include but not limited to Exterior Paint inspection, Ground inspection and Customer Acceptance flight(s).
  14. Collaborates with Contracts department to prepare and administer final delivery closing documents to include but not limited to signing of the Memorandum of Delivery, Title Transfer and Export (if required).
  15. Coordinate and conduct customer delivery ceremony for owner (L1) and assigned team to create and commemorate an exceptional completion and delivery experience.
  16. Provides the customer and Gulfstream senior management with formal, continuous communication for each assigned completion project.
Additional Functions:
  1. Provides direction on resolving aircraft anomalies, damage or schedule impacts with customer and appropriate company management. .
  2. Supports new aircraft sales and Completion & Delivery Executive during prospective customer visits and presentations as required. .
Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements:

  2. Broad knowledge of company product line and aircraft systems.
  3. Must be willing and able to travel as required. and on short notice. Must be willing to support customer needs during and after normal working hours.
  4. Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and presentation applications.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
